Supermassive Games : Interactive Careers Video
We created an interactive video experience that allows potential recruits to explore the studio and discover more about Supermassive.
Background
One of the most common goals for a video game website, is to aid with recruitment. Attracting the best talent is one of the most significant challenges games studios face and doing something to surface studio life and culture helps Supermassive stand out.
The objective
"To create an interactive video experience that allowed potential recruits to explore the studio and discover more about the roles within Supermassive"
Long-standing Etch Play client Supermassive Games, had an idea for a recruitment campaign that reflected their culture, studio life and had a flavour of the type of interactive experiences they create. The objective was to create an interactive video experience that allowed potential recruits to explore the studio and discover more about the roles within Supermassive from the team who are there.
What we did
Launch
The launch of the interactive video was well-received on social media and resulted in a 50% increase in traffic compared to the previous period also delivering an increased average time on page.
Working with Supermassive and their video production crew, we've delivered a recruitment hook that stands out from your typical "we're hiring" page. You can check it out via the link below.
"Etch Play understood the way we needed to speak to our audience and the way we needed to speak internally about our website."
"The website is more important to us now than it has ever been. Etch Play have a very good understanding of games development and the games industry.""
